Stewardship is a concept that permeates the whole Bible. It is the call that originates in the act of creation. God created us in His image, to live in a relationship with Him, with our neighbors, with ourselves and with the environment. (Gen 1:26-27) In His love and generosity, God entrusted the creation to humanity. Stewardship reminds us that it is our responsibility to respond to this trust and love.
