Stewardship District Teams—Training for 2019

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sergipe, through the stewardship department, hosted a meeting for Christian Stewardship District Teams. The meeting took place in the auditorium of Hotel Aquaria in Aracaju and brought together more than 150 local district leaders to train and mentor members and leadership on talents, church, and faithfulness management. Among the group of members selected to receive training were those who demonstrate faithfulness and organization in the administration of gifts and talents for God and the church.

Among the guests was Pastor Luciano Salviano, director in the departments of stewardship and health for the states of Bahia and Sergipe. The leadership also gave seminars on subjects related to the “Values of Grace,” which was the theme chosen for the meeting. Body-related matters such as the temple of the Holy Spirit, the use of the eight natural remedies, Sabbath keeping, and faithfulness in tithes and offerings were explored and were among the values of grace addressed.
