We live in a world filled with chaos and selfishness. Even churchgoers often attend with an attitude of “What’s in it for me?” Others search for inner peace while refusing to be accountable. When stewardship encompasses so much of what we do and who we are, why focus on money, possessions, wealth, and giving? Because at this time in history, people’s wealth and their love of money are the greatest threats to God’s church. Money is God’s competitor. Our prayer—as we learn how to be successful, relevant, and happy in managing our tangible and intangible possessions for God’s glory—is that one day we will each hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
