"A Taste of Heaven”

Stewardship and Treasury Meeting—February 3, 2024

"Once a year, we gather all local church Stewardship directors, treasurers, and pastors to provide training, continuous education in Stewardship, spiritual growth, and motivation for their work," says Fridolino May, Stewardship director of the Central Paranaense Conference, located in Curitiba, Brazil.

This time, on February 3, 2024, the participants couldn't imagine that something different would happen.

The theme was "My Faithfulness, My Legacy," emphasizing faithfulness in all aspects of life, and it seemed like any other meeting for continuous education.

But at the end of the day, all participants were surprised by an invitation to an environment that "mimicked" heaven, with singers dressed in white robes and gold crowns. Each participant was also provided white garments and invited to "imagine" themselves in heaven. Continuous Education in Stewardship for local church leaders, especially Stewardship directors and treasurers, is one of the best practices suggested by the General Conference Stewardship Ministries department.

By regularly providing instruments for their growth, we potentially optimize their efficiency in the local church, creating conditions for more members to put God first.
