SSD: THE LOST MONEY AT THE RICE PADDIES

One day, a farmer has sold bamboo.  As was his custom, he set aside his Tithe and offerings from the money obtained from the bamboo he sold.  He wrapped the amount and put it in his pocket.  But later, he noticed that the wrapped amount kept in his pocket was lost. The farmer was able to trace the places he had been after he received the money, but the bound cash was not found.  He realized that the kept money had inevitably dropped in the rice paddies he had planted.  At that time, the farmer was barely preparing to start the rice field when the wrapped Tithe and offering went was lost.

At harvest time, the was unbelievably amazed that the lost money was found without having gotten rotten or torn, including the paper used for wrapping, despite the scorching heat of the sun, and much more the many heavy downpours of rain on it.  This experience has led the farmer to believe that tithes and offerings are holy and sacred entirely.

Conclusion: Tithes and offerings are sacred because they belong to God.  We have to take extra care of the things that are holy and worship God by faithfully returning our Tithes and offerings to Him.
