Stewardship Workshop for Delhi Metro Region, MP Region and Rajasthan Section:

September 26-28, 2018, with the theme “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God,” a Stewardship Workshop was conducted for the Delhi Metro Region, MP Region, and Rajasthan Section at the Northern India Union Headquarters by Barkat Masih the associate Stewardship director for the Northern India Union. This workshop was attended by 22 delegates, including Pr Ronald Marjee, DMR director; Pr Ronald M David, MPR director; and Mr Harun Lakra, Stewardship director for Rajasthan Section of SDA.

For this important Stewardship Workshop Pr V P Singh, NIU president; Dr Ronald Ram, an international evangelist; and Mrs Rita Gill, the Family and Women Ministries director for NIU, along with Barkat Masih were the main speakers. Messages on how to give priority to God’s kingdom and His righteousness were well received by the delegates from Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan Section.

Prayer sessions brought us all closer to God and gave us the ability to easily understand the beautiful truth, and the group discussions kept us all fully engaged while we learned through discussions, sharing, and meditation each day. After every presentation, in the group discussion the delegates pondered two questions: (1) During this meeting what have I been taught or reminded of? and (2) How I am going to apply this in my life, family, and ministry? This was a new method of learning for most of the delegates, and this kept everyone awake and attentive during the meetings.

The Delegates were given time to share their testimony and challenges, which proved another way of learning from one another.

The meeting was closed with the consecration service by Pr V P Singh. Everyone returned home with a new thought pattern and a wonderful understanding of the vital subject of stewardship ministry. They also had a new determination to work faithfully in the vineyard of the Lord and to raise faithful promisers in their churches.

I thank God for the full support of my union leaders and for the full support of the field leaders as well.
