Stewardship Workshop for North Bengal and South Bengal Section

June 17-20, 2018, with the theme “My All in Response to God’s All,” a Stewardship Workshop was conducted at Falakata (West Bengal, the headquarter of the North Bengal Section) for North Bengal and South Bengal Sections in the State of West Bengal in India. This workshop was attended by the officers and department directors, Stewardship directors, and 13 other city pastors. The concepts and principles of stewardship were presented by Barkat Masih in simple language that was easy to understand. A lively song service was held before sessions, group discussions, and prayer sessions after the presentations. This helped this workshop to be one of the best Stewardship Workshops in West Bengal, the delegates testified during the testimony time.

Personal preparation; our relationship with God, the chief Shepherd; and our relationship with the sheep of God were the eye-opening topics for the participants. The presentation titled “Stewardship of Time, Talents, Treasure, Testimony, Temple, Territory, and Tribe” brought a new and better understanding of our relationship to stewardship and its value.

The workshop was supported and attended by Pr Moses Lugun, NBS president; Mr Marcus Topno, executive secretary; Mr Christopher Kisku, NBS treasurer; all the department directors; Dr Nirubendu Dass, SBS president, and his wife; and four city pastors, besides the local city pastors.
